1). What about the
aid stations??
- Aid stations are located every
1.5 miles on the marathon and
half marathon courses. On the 5k
course they are located at mile 1 and mile 2. The aid stations will
supply water and
sport drinks. Gels will be available
at mile 5 on the
half marathon course and mile 18 on the
marathon course. Port a Jons will be available every 2 to 3 miles
on the marathon and half marathon course.
2) What is the elevation on the marathon
course?
- Please see course tab link on website
3). What will the temperature be on race day?
- Low temperatures range from 51F to 70F
4). What happens in the event of inclement
weather on race day?
- Tune in WGHN 92.1 FM, Facebook and WOOD tv 8.
5). How long will the course be open?
- The half marathon and marathon course
will be open for 6 hours.
6). Are there any refunds?
- No, sorry we are unable to offer
refunds due to injuries or other unforeseen events or issues.
7). Am I able to upgrade or change my event?
- Yes. You can change from the 5k to
half marathon, or half marathon to marathon. We will ask you to pay
the up charge cost at that time.
8). What is the course terrain like?
- All race courses are on a road or a 6
foot bike path. There is no trail/dirt running on any of the
courses.
9). Where should I stay?
- Fairfield Inn in Muskegon.

10). I am a spectator where can I see my
athlete on the marathon course?
- Ferry park @ mile 1/2, Coast guard
park @ mile 2 and 7, rycenga park @ mile 16 and Pomona park @ mile
