Spring Lake Area
Originally founded as the Village of Mill Point Launch in 1849, the members of the community adopted its first Village Charter and became the Village of Spring Lake in 1869. Although the community’s original ties to the lumber industry have long passed, the Village serves as a great place to live and continues to play a role in the northwest Ottawa County’s tourism industry. The community began as a wonderful place to live, work and play and that tradition continues today. Our community, which lies upriver from Lake Michigan, spans 1.1 sq. miles, and has a population of 2,514.

Grand Haven Area
Welcome to Grand Haven, one of Michigan's featured Beach towns and a renaissance city that has become a beacon for those looking for simplicity in a scene of natural beauty. From its roots as a highly commercial port-of-call for ferries and passenger liners, Grand Haven has evolved to become a place of serene, family enjoyment, hosting lively outdoor recreation, a thriving downtown, history, culture and festivals on the shores of Lake Michigan and the Grand River. World's largest Musical Fountain, boardwalk, beautiful beaches, lighthouses, historic downtown, and more.

Ferrysburg Area
Since incorporation as a city in 1963, work has progressed steadily to develop the community with imagination and an eye to the future. Adequate transportation, open land, industrial diversification, recreational resources and substantial residential development all serve to help underwrite and insure the Ferrysburg of tomorrow. The groundwork of organization and planning has been laid. With continued citizen support and participation, the community promises sound exciting growth for many years to come.

Fruitport Area
Captain Edward L. Craw attracted settlers to this area beginning in 1866 by successfully raising peaches on this very land, which at the time carried the name Crawville. Many fortunes were made raising fruit and shipping it from the shores of Spring Lake. The Township and village became known as Fruitport in 1869.  Fruitport Charter Township is a charter township of Muskegon County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 12,533 at the 2000 census. The village of Fruitport is within the township.  According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 30.1 square miles (78.1 km²), of which, 30.0 square miles (77.7 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.3 km²) of it (0.43%) is water.
